Holiday Family Photo Session at the Historic Cavalier Hotel

The Historic Cavalier Hotel, newly remodeled and nestled grandly on 42nd street at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront is basically in our backyard. And even though we shouldn’t budget staying here (because yes, it’s that expensive, I’ve looked into it,) I feel pretty lucky that we live so close to this treasure of a place that we can just pop in to take our Holiday photos. It boasts past guests such as F. Scott Fitzgerald and wife Zelda (which is probably where I’m getting those Gatsby vibes,) Frank Sinatra, Judy Garland, and numerous U.S. Presidents, so the place has a classy and eclectic history.

Our amazing photographers, Char and Sam of CDSV Photography nailed it again and captured our holiday photos with style and grace. And our sweet Miles made it through the session without a single fuss even though it was scheduled smack dab in the middle of his morning nap.
